Covid-19 Coverage Information Updated in August 2022

On the 23rd July 2022, The World Health Organization declared the global monkeypox outbreak a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC). On the 28th July 2022, Australia’s Chief Medical Officer declared the increasing presence of monkeypox in the country a “communicable disease incident of national significance”.
