- Family Emergency: A close family member who is a resident in Australia falls seriously ill, is injured or unexpectedly passes away in Australia, and you need to stay home to support them. Your cancellation costs may be covered.
- Court Attendance: If you’re required to go to court to be a witness, or perform jury duty, our policies may cover you if you need to cancel your trip.
- Emergency Services: If you’re a member of the armed forces, police, fire, nursing or ambulance services and you have to stay in Australia because of an emergency and need to cancel your trip, our policies may cover you.
- Natural Disasters: A cyclone strikes your destination days before your departure, forcing you to cancel. If you have purchased the natural disaster policy upgrade, Tick may cover your cancellation costs.
