Eruption of White Island: How Does It Affect You?

Are you wondering how the eruption of White Island will affect you? If so, read on.

An unexpected eruption on White Island in the Bay Of Plenty, off the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand, has left some critically injured, and others are still unaccounted for.

Rescue efforts are ongoing, and Civil Defence is advising people to stay clear of designated restricted zones.

The eruption of White Island is considered and known event as of 1:00pm (AEDT) on 9th December 2019.
